Herlong Tourney Winds Up Tonighti ■ «HERLONG, Mar. 5, (Special!— The local Veterans of Foreign Wars keglers copped first place in team play here tonight in the annual City Association Bowling Tournament with a three-game series score of 2844.The tournament, “which began Friday night, will wind up tomorrow night with doubles and singles championship play.Shop’s Branch rolled into 2nd place honors with a series score of 2728, while the Administration Five placed third with a 2726 series.Incomplete returns from the doubles matches put Dick Slaughter and Ruben McNett in the leadtoday. .Jack Ayers was leading tonight in the all-events bowling with a total score of 1716 for o nine-game series.
