Pick CastFor PlayAt SchoolIn the Greensburg Community High School auditorium. William Gibson’s play, “The Miracle Worker.“ will be performed by students on March 29 at 7:30 p. m. The biography of Helen Keller is based on Annie Sullivan’s struggle to help Helen break through her barrier of blindness.Auditions for the play were held Feb. 20 for interested students. Characters were selected by their voice, poise, body movements, and size. Frank Leach, drama teacher, will be the director with the assistance of Jerry Plath. student director. Chosen as cast members are: Alice, Shervl Sch-Vwering; Anagnos, Greg Sch-wering: Annie Sullivan, Judy Dierckman; Aunt Ev, Kim Gross; Doctor, Jerry Plath; James, Jeff Sullivan; Kate, Connie Ziegler; Keller. Bob Weaver; Percy, Bill Underhill;and Sarah. Darlene Collins.Understudies are Cindy DeArmond, Eloise Hill, and Vicky Klosterkemper Practice will begin today.Tickets will be sold for $1 at the door or in advance by cast members.
