Six Aval^n-students compose the BelairsSix students from Avtlon have been playing at a combo for a year now. entertaining patients at Dixvnont State Hospital.The six. called the Belairs. have taken on part-time jobs to earn money for their instruments and uniforms and hive been performing a charity functions in the area.They are Ken Siebert. 16. a sophomore at Avalon High; Ken Bracken. 16. a junior at Avalon; Tom Patton Jr.. 15. an eighth grader at Avalon; Leo Schneider. IS. a sophomore at Avalon; William GiigJr . 17. a senior at Avalon, and Bob Ensminger. 19. a sophomore at Duquesne UniversityBob organized the group and acts asits leader. He is a music major at Duquesne.The group specialises in variety: rock ‘n roll, old standards and pop. They have been received so well at Dlxmont the hospital has asked them to come back at least once a month.The combo will get a big chance when they play during Teen Week at Hornes in April.Ken Siebert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Siebert, 720 Taylor Ave The other Ken is thr son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bracken. 115 Cleveland Ave. Tom is the son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Patton. 303 Cleveland Ave Leo . is the son of Dr and Mrs Joseph C Schneider. 899 Malvern Road Bob is ^he son of Mrs Isabelle Ensminger. 230 Cleveland Ave
