Area Boys Wiii Sing In Latin Hootenanny At St. Vincent'sLATROBE — Three area students from St. Vincent College Preparatory School will take part In an unusual musical program on the campus March 9.The event will be a Latin hootenanny, sponsored by the Junior Classical League in Kennedy HalLParticipating will be: Joseph Canada, Jr., 15, son of Mr. and Mrs, Joseph Canada of 1118 Leisenring Ave., ConneflsviUe; Michael Cavalier Jr., 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cavalier, of 209 North Long St., Connells-ville; and Thomas Bainbridge Jr., 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bainbridge of 613 Brown St., Everson.Canada sings with a combo comprised of sophomores, while Cavalier and Bainbridge are part of a Latin-singing freshmen group that will sing such songs as “Dimitte Caput, Tho-ma,” (“Hang Down Your Head, Tom Dooley”) and “Tu, Tu Semper in Corde” (the Latin counterpart for the German song, “Du, Du Liegst Mir imHertzen”).Guests at the program will include Bishop William G. Con-nare of Greensburg and Coad-, jutor Archabbot Rembert G. ■ Wealdand, O.S B., of St. Vincent Archabbey who will be inducted into the Junior Classical League as honorary members that night by the president, John Vaughn, a senior from Norfolk, Va.
