Thechoir is now under the direction ofFritz Thor, known to all musiclovers in and around Westport forhis fine work as a teacher. He isplanning to bring this choir up toa high level of performance byserious studies of Bach cantatas.Therefore, a large number of voices are needed.The training, which is free of charge, includes theory and sight reading, as well as choral singing. The Robert Jones* young daughter, Christina, has already written a composition which she will soon sing with her fellow members of the junior choir.Work on a most unusual Easter program is about to begin and rehearsals will be held every Friday evening at 8:15 o’clock.
