April 18. Their recent meeting was held at the F. J. Huff home Friday, evening, Feb. 28. Other business included plans for making a yearly program. The officers and leaders aim to do this before the next meeting. Charlotte Bodle was elected reporter. Evelyn Harne, club agent, met with the group and discussed records, with special emphasis on the Health activity. Games were played under the direction of Juanita Wine-garner. Potluck lunch was served.Victory 4-H. Plans were made to invite the Crosby Beach 4-H club to attend a meeting April 30. The Victory club made these plans at the meeting held Wednesday, Feb. 26. Other business included planning to buy a basket ball, purchase of a box for 4-H club supplies and framing of the charter. Kathryn Spletts-toeszer was selected to get the charter framed and Gerald Mel-igan was to see about a file for club property. The group favored entering the plav and music festival. Sibyl Stickel was put in charge of selecting a play.Robert Ford was elected vice president of the group to fill a vacancy. Kay Kruger, home demonstration agent, met with the group and discussed National 4-H Club Week, records and gave a pressing demonstration. Recitations were part of the program. Robert Ford contributed some jokes. Lunch was served.Rabbit Lake. The Ed Howard home was the scene of the Feb. 19 meeting of the Rabbit Lake club. Donald Meacham took charge. The main item of business was making plans to enter the Play and Music Festival in Crosby April 25. Games were played and lunch served. The next meeting will be held at the Meacham home on April 5.Daggett Brook. Yearly program planning was the main item of business for the Daggett Brook members as they met at the Kenneth Pennington home on Monday evening, Feb. 24. Kay Kruger, home demonstration agent, met with the group and assisted with the program planning. Other business included making the constitution. Eva Phillips was put in charge of that committee. The members favored entering the Play and Music Contest. Lois Caughev. Audrey Damm and Darold Stearns were appointed to the committee to make a selection. Health and project records were discussed as was National 4-Hng-hisertnd.FoeClub Week. A membership drive was planned for March and a goal of 30 members was set. Games were played and lunch served at the close of the evening.hei lineBarrows. Thirty-eight dollars was cleared at the recent moneymaker of the Barrows club, according to Bertina Weis. Five dollars of this amount was to be contributed to the Sister Kenny Fund in action taken by the members. The club decided to j enter the Play and Music Contest and Bertina Weis and Margaret Holmes were appointed to the committee to make the selection. A special parents’ meeting was planned for March. For that meeting Leonard Anderson and Donald Holmes were appointed to the program committee and Melvin Maust to the recreation committee. The program under the direction of Mar-j garet Holmes consisted of a vocal , selection by Mrs, Frank Weis and her daughters, Sandra and | Bertina. Donald Pederson accompanied them with his guitar. J Folk games were enjoyed by all the members. A movie on tuberculosis was shown by Evelyn Harne. club agent. Lunch was served by Mrs. Albin Pederson. { District 30 Go-Getters. New officers were chosen to fill the posts of vice president and reporter at the recent District 30 ! Go-Getters. Ed Versluis was j chosen vice president, and John Nelson, reporter. Burnell Nelson reported on the recent money-making activity. Rosemary | Bachela and John Nelson w'ere appointed to the committee to write the constitution. This willmeeting.
