Children and Adults Too Enjoy Carnival Last Friday Evei! The rink was crowded last Fri-! day evening by skaters and spectators to attend the annual ice I carnival staged by the rink com-; mittee as a finale to the season’s operations and to assist with the | expenses of the rink.Many beautiful costumes were in evidence and the judges had a problem to decide upon the winners. The comic outfits were also good and represented cousiderable ; time and trouble in preparation.A feature of the program was the rabbit chase which caused considerable amusement.The costume prizes were as follows:Rest comic gentleman, Laurie Smith as a robot, j Best comic lady, Helen Murphy as a Grandmother.Best dressed lady, Helen Baldwin, as a snow-bird.Best dressed school girl, Audrey MeLureBest dressed gentleman, Edith Green, as a groom.Comic school boy, Marion Steedsman as a scarecrow.Comic girl, Mary Moore as Mickey Mouse.Comic boy, Garfield Green as a lady.Special prizes, John Brown as a “cuiud” lady, and Ralph Waldo as a pirate.Costume Judges: Mrs. McDon-eII.
