Court: No limits on beach concertsPORTLAND (AP) — There can be no limit set on the number of concerts and open-to-the-public gatherings at a private commercial beach in Brunswick, the Maine Supreme Judicial Court ruled today.The justices settled a dispute over the use of Thomas Point Beach, which came under fire from neighbors who complained about loud concerts.After several years of legal jockeying at the Brunswick Zoning Board of Appeals at Cumberland County Superior Court, both the neighbors and the beach owners appealed a Superior Court ruling that said just 11 “open-to-the-public gatherings could be held at thebeach.The neighbors said there should be just one such gathering permitted each year. The beach owners, Patricia Crooker-Mulligan and Harry C. Crooker, argued for no limits at all
