An exciting runaway orrurred on East First street about 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in which a one horse wagon and a buggy were lt;Ie-molls bed. .The large black horse owned by rthe Klemeyor Lumber? 'When in front of the V.«*S. Express fifllic the wagon swung around and struck a telephone pole.A wheel was Jerked off and the back part nf the vehicle was badly damaged. The frightened horse was thrown down but quickly regaining iis feet, started again. When near the west entrance To the Hatfield Pal me-r hardware store, the remnants of the Wit grin collided with Ab Foster's buggy which waif standing near the curb stone. The buggy was practically demolished by the heavy wagon coming \\i contact with it. The horse fell ng£ln and was caughbjje-fore it could \ run further. So one was ini* rod. '
