Martha Wright assisted the hostess to entertain. The house was very appropriately decorated with the bright faces of the guests. The hostess had arranged novel entertainments, two of which we\e 4,A Sweedlsh Lunch,’’ this seeming peculiar because served In the dark, and “Cupid’s Art Gallery” caused muchstudy. The guests were ushered intothe dining room where Neopolitan ice cream, cake and fruits were served At a late hour the guests departed thanking the hostess for the pleasant evening. Is visiting relatives and friends here for a few days.Walter Lear and wife, of MarionObituary.Elizabeth MoCaslin, aged 70years,died at her home near Oom-miskey, February 13, after a lingering ilmoBB. She was united in marriage to H. S. MoCaslin Jan. 29,1856 and to their union was bom four children two of Whom died at au early age. Her husband preceded her to the better land several years ago, Mrs. MoCaslin united with the Graham Presbyterian church 36 years ago. She was a devoted wife and mother, a kind neighbor and always ready to help those in need. Besides her two children she leaves three brothers and many friendsjto mourn for her,and yet we mourn not as those who have no hope for she had committed herself to His keeping and we know that He is able to keep that whioh is committed unto Him. Fumeal services were conducted at the Graham Presbyterian church by Eev. D. C. Simpson and the remains were laid to rest in the Graham Cemetery.Obituary.Louis Clyde, son of George andVawter was born May 6,argaret1886 at Queensville, Indiana, anddied February 4,1906, having lived1all his life at that place. He leaves a fond, devoted father and mother, six sisters, one brother to mourn for him. Clyde was an hpnest, truthful and industrious boy ; he was habitually cheerful and uncomplaining, so much so that it was difficult for his friends to realizethat he was alarmingly ill. In hisuaifamily he was liberal and kind, was thoroughly interested in all the affairs of home. His was a truly heroic spirit; through his long and painful illness he was cheerful,even hopeful, and never complained except at the absence of the loved ones from whom he was separated. When told only a few hours before bis death that a dear sister was coming iu the morning he said: ‘'Oh, so long!” And soon after he fell asleep to awaken where pain, sickness and death shall never cjme for “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor, for the former things are*crying, passed awayOne Who Loved Him.
