It would be monstrous for the Legislature to lake away the State appropriation for the Onondaga county fair for the benefit of any other fair, ami there is small danger that the hill recently introduced to this end will pass either house. If it should, the Governor would kill it. Syracuse and Onondaga whh well to fiie Phoenix fair, hut are amazed at the shortsighted greed which instigated the attack upon the Syracuse exposition. This fair promises to be one of the most notable j events of the State ia this? line, -uni ' there is every reason why it should he : encouraged by the State. !
