Except for the one being built here, the nearest one is at Omaha.Hie concrete sills for the floor, mill part of the • framework are already complete. The building began two months ago, Is locuted between the artificial Ice plant and Goose Creek.Size of the building will be IOOX 50 fed. Size of the ice rink will he 90X*10 fed. This allows for an l.-sliapcd space on the east and south sides, where spectators unit skaters can Vest. The floor on the cast alley will be concrete. On the southalley will be wood, so that the Ice skates, which will be changed there, are not dulled.Owner of the venture Is Han-dull Stover, formerly of Orange City, who with his wife, moved to Le Murs after buying the Ice plunt. .take Dykstru und Eldon Clement have dono a large part of the construction work. Mr. Dy-fcstrn is also engineer In cburge of Iho plunt.The ice skating rink will be operated very much the same as roller rink. Ice skate shoes will be furnished to patrons. Indoor ico skating will be provided both winters and summers.The building will, of course, be insulnllcd, and with the frozen skating rink, there it will be plcusuntly cool in the hottest weather without further air conditioning.
