Speaking of Mashers, those of the Gaiety division will probably derive some consolation from the fact that when Manager Kdwardes closes his present season next Saturday week the theatre will re-onen on the following Monday with a revival (by Mr. Van Biene's Company) of Sims and Pettitt s burlesque, “Faust Up to Date,” with Miss Florence St. John, Arthur William8, George Honey, aud Mr. Edmnn i Payne in the principal parts. Additional masher-soothing may perhaps be found ;u j the news that “Cinder-Ellen,with ail ti.s “Gaiety Girls ” (plus Fred Leslie and the other not altogether unnecessary “ princi-i pala ”), will also on the aforesaid Monday i week commence a fortnight's engagement at the Islington Grand by way of sta.-^hg “ Cinder-Ellen’s ” provincial tour. For dm tour Miss Katie Seymour has been engaged ! to join tlrose other splendid dancers, Syiv; * Grey and Letty Lind. This burlesque wdl return to the Gaiety in the autumn for a 1 while in a “ revised ' condition.
