City natives’ daughter wins Miss NYC titleAmy Marie Bartlett, a graduate of New York University, has been crowned Miss New York City in a preliminary to the 1999 Miss America Pageant.In June, she will go on to the state pageant in Watertown, N.Y., to compete for the title of Miss New York.She was Miss Metropolitan New York City 1994 and won a talent scholarship at the ’94 state pageant.She is the daughter of Charles and Diane (Sirko) Bartlett, formerly of Johnstown.
