| MY DEAR ELMER: Monday and rain. Field day at hospital postponed until today when it is hoped that the sun will | shine on the annua! event for which great plans have been made. The week of the celebration started off with plenty of moisture, which it is hoped will dry out to be a blazing heat when the circus rolls into town on Thursday, and j speaking of the circus, which is a good subject any time of the year, the children of the two orphanages will have the time of their young lives Thursday when they will go under the big top as the guests of Frank Augsbury, whose generosity , has made their afternoon one of great anticipation. When Jerome Harriman, Charles Sparks’ advance man was here, he went into a confab with Frank about the use of the lot for the| 4big show, and when the conference broke up, it was certain that the arrangements included the orphans, and glory be what a day it’ll be for the kids.
