Siteger was struck by lightning. °n® hoy, George, was struck on the bead burning him the full .length of h sboitv, leaving him unconscious for 24hours, and at the present writing he is still In a very critical condition. Two other children were slightly burned, and six others received severe shocks. The house was struck on the chimney of the upright part, bursting in all directions, and wrecking it beyond repair.Mr. and Mrs. M. Witt and Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Steinke of Wild Rose vis-ited the latter part of the week with friends in this vicinity.O. Brockway left Tuesday for Minnesota whe,re she will work on adredge this summer. • •Mrs. A. Hjerstedt and daughter of Chicago are visiting at the C. E.Hjerstedt home.Mr. .and Mrs. George Simerance^oi Gary, Indiana, visited at the W.
