He served as a mechanical draftsman in Madison, was an engineering aid for the State of Wisconsin, and for 12 years prior to accepting the Lakefield position was a civflengineer for the city of Sunnyvale,Calif. He has served as village clerk in the Minnesota community since May 1967.The new official served with theU. S. Navy during World War II and was recalled to active duty during the Korean Conflict. He has since been retired from the service.The ordinance adopted Tuesdaynight creating the new office also stipulates Baumbach is to appoint a deputy city clerk. Mrs. Dorothy Radcliffe and Mrs. Richard Ayres are currently employed in the city administrative office.? ? ?
