Tuerscluium—Thompson.The 'wedding' of Miss Louise Thompson and Mr. Carl R. Tuersch-man was a pretty affair of Tuesday, taking place at three o’clock, in the afternoon at the -home of- the bride's parents, Mr. arid- Mrs- Walter Thompson, on the Decatur road, south of the city. Rev. Henry F. Dannecker, pastor of St- John's Lutheran church, performed the impressive ceremony In the presence of relatives and friends numbering about twenty-five. The only attendants were Miss Esther Thompson and Mr. Edwin Tuerschman, sister and brother of the bride and groom respectively, and Miss Frances Wensley played the wedding inarch immediately preceding which she sang O Fromise Me.” The bride was lovely in her wedding gown of white georgette crepe girlishly fashioned and over which hung in graceful fullness her vaU of tulle gathered into a cap effect with clusters of orange blossoms. She carried a shower of white roses and swansonia. The bridesmaid wore white French voile and her flowers were pink roses. The floral decorations about - the rooms consisted of roses and. garden flowers and hero and also on - the tables, which were laid, for the sumptuous wedding dinner, which was served at six o'clock, pink was! the prevailing color note- Later in1 the evening the bride changed her wedding gown for a traveling suit of dark blue silk poplin with blouse and hat to match and the couple left on a honeymoon trip to southern points. Mrs, Tuerschman is a bright and attractive young woman and for some time has been employed as stenographer at the National Milling company.
