Death of B. B. EncellThe Hon. 11. B. Encell died in an asylum at Logansporl, Indiana, Tuesday morning.Mr. Encell was known by all the older residents of Van Wert, hating j lived here and practiced law for a number of years. From here he went to Warsaw, Indiana, and j entered into partnership with Judge Frazier. His was a brilliant mind and he was recognized as one of the leading attorneys of Indiana. He took an active part in politics and stumped Indiana and parts of Ohio every year in the interest of the Republican party. He was argumentative and convincing in his speech and was always prepared when he ascended the rostrum. He was a favorite here in Van Wertwhere he was known and his ability commanded that respect always shown great intellects. For a short time he was editor of the Bulletin but it was in the domain of law and politics that he achieved the greatest success.He married a member of the old and respected Slater family, of this county. His wife died a year and a half ago. A few weeks before her death his mind, which for some time had been growing weak, became unbalanced and it was necessary to remove him to the asylum at Logans-port where he remained until his death. It is a sad ending of a life of great promise. The body was brought to this city for burial.
