The annual Higgins Alumni association picnic, which is an attraction for people throughout the southwestern part of Wisconsin and which has always been attended by over 500 persons, will be held this year at the historical old Fort Hamilton, Wiota, Sunday, June 30. Frank Higgins, the oldest employee at the state capitol, is past 90 years of age and an early pioneer of Darlington, where he tutored the late Senator Robert M. LaFollette, The address of the day will be given by District Attorney Phillip La Fol-lette, son of the late Senator R. M. La Follette.
