Jesse Coxey la a . boh of Gen.Jacob Sechler Coxey, the^ advocate of good roads and non-interest bonds, and Jesse’s bride is a sister of Gen* Coxey’s second wife, whose name, of course, was Jones. Jesse’s mother, the first Mrs. Coxey, divorced, has married a man named Jones. Two years ago, when Je'sse was abroad, his sweetheart unexpectedly married Will Jones, a brother of the Miss Jones that is now Jesse’s bride.Now that the excitement of the wedding is over, Jesse is trying to fix upon his relationships. General Coxey he nodonger recognizes as in paternal authority, but meets him upon a level as his brother-in-law. The General is no longer the “old man” to him, bat just Jake. Jesse has a Jones for step-father and a Jones for step-mother, but they are widely different Joneses, and, besides, the Jones who is his step-mother is also hiB sister-in-law. General Coxey’s sister-in-law has become his daughter-in-law,. and his wife’s own sister has become her step-daughter-in-law, while her step-son has become her brother-in-law.
