Perry County Democracy in Convention. The Delegates selected at the Democratic Primary meeting on the 10th iust., met at the Court House last Saturday, and completed the nominations for county officers, which are somewhat different trom those announced in our last issue. The Convention was called to order and presided over by the Chairman ol the County Kxccutivc Committee, Mr. Jaoob Heck. After a few ad-viso ry remarks by Roan Clark, the Convention proceeded to business. For Representative, the contest at first seemed to be pretty sharp between Starke Minor and William Henning. AH of a sudden some mischievous “cuss” informed certain delegates that Mr. Minor would not dot, that he had been heard to declare his disbelief in the spherical shape of the world, and had said, “the world is flat and any man is a d—d fool who sa\ s it is round.”
