Miss Kathy Heglin, a,-19651 a senior at ENMU majoring in will depart .June 20 for a six.*Clovis High graduate .and now! mathematics ami psychology, week tour o£ Europe.Miss Heglin will lour England, Wales, Scotland, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. She was chosen to be a member of 100 college students who : will perform “Good News” at the Baptist World Youth Con-jference in Berne, Switzerland. ! “Good News” is a religious folk mulcal depicting the life of Christ. It is a 50 minute production accompanied by three guitars, a bass fiddle, tambourines, and a piano.1 After presenting “Good News” at the Berne Conference, the cast will then help to make-up the conference’s thousand voice choir.Billy Graham is the speakerat the conference. Seven thousand students from 7§ countries will attend.iim g#ni¥ nmuxMiss Heglin has recently received the honor of being chosen for “Who's Who Among American University Students.” She has been on the Dean's List every semester. She also held various offices in the dorm, Alpha Lambda Delta, freshman honorary; Spurs, sophomore honorary; Cardinal Key, Junior honorary; and Senior Women's Honorary. She has been a charter member of each of thesehonorary organization. She Isalso an active member and officer of Chi Sibma Alpha, the Science and Mathematics Honorary, and the Baptist Student Union.She is the daughter of Mrs. Betty Heglin and the late Lewis| C. Heglin.
