SURPRISE BIRTHDAY DINNER FOR MRS. CYRUS ARNOLDThat modern ways have never yet found a plan that rivals the old family gatherings and basket dinnersfor pure enjoyment was well demonstrated Sunday, June 17, when a large number of relatives and friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Arnold in honor of Mrs. Arnold's fiftieth birthday.The birthday of Mrs. Arnold and a brother, Janies McNieol, comes on the same day and that of another brother, William McNicol, on June 20th. The brother were aware of the plans being made for the dinner and were not surprised but Mrs. Arnold was surprised enough for all.
