River ForestMethodistRiver Forest Methodist churel was organized February 14, 1871 for the purpose of ministering tlt; the religious needs of the com munity. Stated meetings take place as follows on Sundays: 9:45 a.m.— church school; 11 a.m.—Sunday worship; 3:30 p.m. — Methodist Minors, and 7:15 p.m.—Methodist Youth Fellowship. Men's club meetings are held on alternate fourth Tuesdays; Women’s Societyof Christian Service meetings areheld on the second Thursdays. Other organizations meet as determined by the membership.Additional subsidiary groups include: The Ark—young marrieds; the Couples club—married people’s group; the Fellowship club— a group meeting for the fellowship; Interchurch Bowling team; Men’s Bowling league of the church, and the Choir.Principal officers are:Pastor—R.
