P. Thompson; secretary, Robert Hontz; and treasurer, Doug Faught.The retiring club president, Bunten, joined jack Cordray, Charles Defibaugh and Norman Wood on the board of directors.McCollum, in brief remarks at the conclusion of the ceremony, pledged himself to a year of work for the community and for the improvement of individual Jaycee members.In addition to installation of officers, the banquet served as1a time of recognition for clubleaders in various fields over the past year. *The C. W. Brownfield Award for outstanding first year Jaycee was given to H. P. Thompson, chairman of this year's highly-successful Miss Brookfield Pageant. vThe chairman of the year was Gary Howell, for his leadership in the 1974, Miss Brookfield Pageant. :Key Man award went to Gene McCollum.The President’s Award, announced by Bunten for Outstanding service in many areas, went to Doug Faught.The Outstanding Jaycee of the Year plaque went to H. P. Thompson.Bunten reviewed for the audience of approximately 125 the top projects of Brookfield Jaycees during his tenure. These inclued the Miss Brookfield Pageants, the Christmas basket program, Hallowe'en party for children, Easter egg roll, and a BB gun clinic.McCollum gave a Past President's plaque in appreciation for Bunten's leadership. McCollum announced that theplayed Sunday at Marceline.Speak Up awards, for work in this past year at effective expression in club meetings and elsewhere, went to Gary Coates, Gene Techau, Bob Gooch, H.P. Thompson, Bob Ridgway, Gary Howell, Doug Faught, McCollum and Bunten.Pride Awards were announced'velop strong attitudes and goals in individuals.
