Dr. John E. Metz.The League of Gentlemen, a rock-n-roll band from Littlestown and vicinity, won top honors during the battle of the bands competition Saturday evening at the Silver Rim, Md., carnival. The group which took first place is comprised of Craig Zumbrum, vocal lea dand rhythm and lead guitar; Gary Haifley, Eddie Mort and Jerry Updyke, bass guitars; Steve Hornberger, lead guitar.
