Mrs.Edith Henry Cheatham of Bryan is his great granddaugter while Mrs. Doris Bowman Johnson of Bryan is a great granddaughter of Sarah Henry Peyton.William Henry and Mary Fullerton Henry were both born in Ireland but came to the United States and were married in Greene county, Alabama, Nov. 10, 1831.There were four of the original Henry brothers who came to Texas, the first being Robert with his wife Elizabeth Downing in 1829. They had been married in Ireland in 1820 and came to American on their honeymoon.
