After an “extended” courtship, covering a period of two weeks the names of Miss Gol-duh Wright and Miss Gustie Edwards were suddenly changed last Saturday. After a hearty meal Saturday, John Warmouth and “Curley” Berlin suddenly had a desire to see Martinsville. E. V. Milhon was chartered to deliver the young candidates to the car line | at Mooresville. After the party reached the artesian city the county clerk was aroused, the necessary papers j were secured and soon Miss Wright j was Miss Berlin and Miss Edwards I was Mrs. Warmouth. The happy ! couples returned here Sunday to en-i joy a feast at the home of Ed. War j mouth.
