CELEBRATES 82M) BIRTHDAYMrs. William Crank of this city celebrated her 82nd birthday last | Saturday. During the evening sev-' eral of her friends, called on her,4those present were Dr. and Mrs. Preston and s n Bennie, Mrs. PearlfJaynes and little granddaughter Marchetta Ann Scott and Miss Chris-i tene Blevins, those sending gifts were: Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Kees, Huntington, W. Va., Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Rose, New Castle, Indiana, Mrs. Carrie James. Miss Nell James. Mr. and Mrs. Gaines Tyree, Lois Ann and Polly James and Rethie Lou Kitts. All reported a nice time. Refreshments consisting of ice . cream and cake were served.
