On Sabbath the programme adopted Saturday night is carried out. The churches are generallyWELL FILLED ou pleasant mornings, especially when the services are of unusually important nature, or the sea^^ is such that a good opportunity of studying the new styles is in prospect. In the afternoon the pleasure seekers till the Mad Anthony Rude, the French Brewery and other suburban resorts; or, perhaps, engage in more rational enjoyment by strolling among the beauties of nature and art which fill Lin-denwood cemetery, or wandering out among the woods—God's temples—which surround the Summit City on every hand.Sunday and Saturday night were passed by our citizens in this manner; and while' too many have made their weekly holiday a season of dissipation and debauchery, let us hope that many have been improved and bene fitted by this day; have drawn closer to their Creator,and passed the hours in earnest, thoughtful meditation,reflecting that each recurring Sabbatli draws u* nearer and neaier to our earthly end, which, let us hope, will be followed by an endless eternity of happiness, the rewards of the faithful.LITTLE LABOR.—Market morning.—Old papers for sale at the Gazkete office.~Liudemvood cemetery presents a bcau-tilul appearance.—The employees uf the P., Ft. \V. ifKy., were paid off yesterday.—The annual examinations at the Fort Wayne College will conclude to-day.-Shall Allen County attempt to hold a fair this year?
