Fannie Taylor was hosier to the ladies of the Griffith’s Creek Bap- ; tist Church at her home last Wed- • nesday.Mrs. Pina Bowyer led the devo- lt;tional and conducted the business ■meeting.The theme song was: sung with Lyndal Honakn playing the ac- 1 companiment on the piano. After Mrs. Ethel Mann led the group in prayer the third and fourth chapters of Ephesians were read and discussed.A shower was given for Mrs 1 Thersia O Del! in honoi of her ; eighty-fifth birthday after the : business session. Mrs. O’Dell is the ' oldest member of the group and is now deaf and almost blind. * Mrs. Taylor served refreshments to the following members: Mrs. Bessie Lacy, Mrs. Bertha Dodd.Mrs. Orene Boyd, Mrs. Iris Hona-ker, Mrs. Lena Dunbar, Mrs. Glenna Harris, Mrs Nettie Burdette, Mrs. Mattie Boyd, Mrs.Ethel Mann, Mi'.'.
