Boy Scout troop bike-a-thon to Hannibal will honor Dr. BuzanBoy Scouts of the Piasa Bird Council of Alton Troop 1 will bicycle to Hannibal, Mo.. Saturday in a bike-a-thon in memory of the late Dr. Edwin Buzan, an Alton pediatrician for 21 years. Buzan died of cancer in 1977.Troop members will return to Alton on June 27.Proceeds from the bike-a-thon will go to the Alton-Wood River unit of the American Cancer Society.DUANE ADAMS isscoutmaster of the troop, which is sponsored by College Avenue Presbyterian Church. Scouts who will ride to Hannibal include Bill Ingersoll, Mike Aimone, Hal Wittman. Kyle Kennedy. Scott Osborne, Greg and Jeff Warren, Mike Sorgea, Mike and George Gunning. Derek McCormick. Richard Starkey and Doug Taylor.
