Viers and E. E. Root took a trip to PutnamJ county yesterday and returned with a fairly good snake story, which is true. While in Highland township, on their way home, they ran across a hugh blue racer snake. Mr.J Root armed himself with a club and after one severe round with his snakeship, scored a victory and placed his heel upon the head of the serpent.
