Bowsman C of C Sponsor Field DayThe Bowsman School Field Day sponsored by the Bowsman Chamber of Commerce was held Friday, June 16. President Sam Kirkpatrick welcomed everyone. The colorful parade left the grounds at 1:30 p.m. with eight country schools and three rooms of the Bowsman school taking part. E^ach school was headed by a banner made by the pupils.On returning to the grounds the banners and marching were judged. The competition resulted as follows: Banners, first - Egremont; second Grades 3 and 4 Bowsman; third -Wild Rose.Marching, first - Lavender; second Grades 5 and 6 Bowsman; third -Lady Hubble..At the time of writing results of the ball games were not available.
