Dow line,manager of the Dowling theater. is * pelth* promoter, and he intends to give jThLogansport people high-class vaudeville under canvas. It is believedthat the Fort Wayne Wabash \ alley Traction company is associated with him in the project. Alreadypreparations for the summer uardenare under way. A force of i en is laying out the grounds, and withina lt;lav or two the tent will be erect-*ed. The date for opening the summer theater has not vet been decided*%but it is possible that it will be opened within two weeks. Dowling- i* busy booking acts tor the bouse and he intends to give people a rattling good show every week. With a summer theater, a skating rink, a base ball field, a race track on which ponies are continually working ouf* Spencer park this summer will have somethin^- besides its natural beauty tlt; attract people. The park is otic of the most beautiful places in Indiana. but hundreds would flock there it there were more attractions.
