Roy Duckett approved the idea which was presented to and approved by the Sweetwater city commissioners early this week.One reason for the release of water is to lower the lake level to the spillway to permit necessary repairs to the spillway. Oak Creek is still running water and water continues to go over the spillway.This has hampered access to the road across the spillway and it is ^ necessary that traffic move across ' the road over the spillway.Opening the valve would give Sweetwater the opportunity to test Bn and adjust the big line through the heart of the massive earthen dam 118 adjust the valves from all posi-ne lions.ild The water will not be lowered od below the spillway level.stattie■r-111•ip
