Bronte Little Leaguers InWinters CircuitBronte's Little League has signed up for a spot in the Winters League play for this summer. Other members of the league are four Winters teams, Lawn, Drasco and ; Wingate, making an eight-team circuit.Bronte’s first game in league play resulted in a win for the locals last Monday night when the Longhorns went by .the Wintefs Dodgers, 10-7. Victor Ivey pitched for the Bronte boys, and he, Raymond Hernandez and Ronnie Lee starred at bat. Otustanding in field play in this game were Roy.ce Lee and Jim Morrow.The Longhorns go to Wingate this Friday (today) at 5:30. when they take on the Drasco team. A complete schedule of the League play will be run in next week’s Enterprise.Present plans are to play three games each week. Two league games are on the schedule, and a third game will be played with an outside team. The outsiders game will be played in order for every boy who comes out to get to play.I. C. Oden, Bronte’s manager, said the bridge- over Oak Creek between here and Winters is now complete, making it only about a 25 minute drive from here.
