Jewish Center Will ConductSummer Program for YouthA full program of activitiesfor children between the ages of 5 and 12 1 n planned thi* summer at Valley Cities Jewish Community Center, 13164 Burbank Blvd., Van Nuys,Registration Is being accepted for all phases of the program, which will begin during the first week of July, announced Valerie Amdur, coordinator of the Junior sum-mer program.Repeat AetfrttteoThree new activities planned this season are the Junior Hoot and Stomp, the Junior Balabustas (little home-makers) and the Junior Sportsmen.Two popular activities being repeated from last summer art the Lively Arts and the Adventure* In Arts programs.ASTRONOMY CLUBIn addition there will brother activities scheduled.Each activity will be divided Into two four-week sessions and children may be registered for either the first or second seas km or both.The Junior Hoot and Stomp is for 85A to 12 year olds and will meet on Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Leslie Janusz will lead the group and activities will include folkdancing, folk singing, folklore and costumcmaking.Mrs. Amdur will direct the Junior Balabustas which will help 7- and 8-year-old girl* learn bomemaidng skills. Among the thing* which will taught are cooking, baking, table decorating and sewing.
