Swimming, hiking, cook-outs, handcraft and nature lore are all part of the life of a Camp Firegirl when she goes to summer camp at Camp Trowbridge. And since camp is scheduled to open a week from Sunday, girls are beginning to wonder what costumes they shouldbring for camp theatricals, how many hours a day they will be allowed to swim, and what handcraft projects they should undertake.About 70 Camp Fire girls may attend camp each week, and registrations so far have reached a total of about 400.Registrations for the first six weeks have been nearly taken, with a few left in the first two weeks* of camp. There are vacancies in the last three weeks, from July 27 until August 17.Pre-camp counselors9 training course will begin June 19 and will continue until June 22, and will be held at Trowbridge. Camp opens officially Sunday, June 22, with registration of campers to start at 2:00 p. m. Miss Gladys Engelhart, Miss Ruth Gutting, cabin counselors. Other guardians may spend part of the camping season at camp.
