of ice cream and cake were served.At Davenport Concert.James, Gaar and Sherman Ingels accompanied the Galva Band to Davenport Wednesday evening where a concert was given by the band at the WOC wireless station at the Palmer School of Chiropratie, and which was broadcasted from that place. Eight numbers were given by the band, which also accompanied Miss Mildred Hanlon, who gave a vocal solo entitled “The Gypsy Love Song. It was said at the close of the concert by one of the managers of the station that this was one of the best concerts ever given there.Several gathered at the homes of A. L. Dickerson and Marvin Grimm, where there are radio outfits, and enjoyed the concert.
