Plan Tribute ToThe Former“Mr. Boss Man”BRAZIL, Ind., June 12—(Special)—The memory of the late An-sil Harpold will be honored Friday night, June 13, when Women of the Moose will present their annual 'minstrel in honor of “Mr. Boss Man.” Mr. Harpold gained the “Boss Man” title for the successful presentation of the organization’s first minstrel in 1950. He served as director and master of ceremonies for the show entitled“Mr. Boss Man.”Guest night will be observed Friday at the Moose Home. The lodge hopes every member will be present to honor the occasion with the Women’s Minstrel and to pay tribute to Mr. Harpold,It is recalled that 16 inexperienced preformers of the Women of the Mo6se volunteered for the initial minstrel. It was through RBI Harpolddirection that the cast came up with a hit. So popular was the show that numerous command performances were made.The 1950 minstrel was featured in the V.F.W. benefit show, the democratic rally in the park, at lodges in Greencastle, Paris and Clinton. -Another performance was made at], Christmas time to help needy families in this city at Coatesville, the cast appeared to help the Young L Adults class of the Methodist . Church raise funds for a new { church. Elizabeth Wesley, one of he specialty singers in the chorus rill act as master of ceremonies , 'or the 1952 minstrel. Wendell1 Fields, member of the lodge, is the!lirector.
