Page 4Scottsdale Daily Progress — This WeekendtFriday, June 11, 1971nThe Lqs Vegas cast of 'Moll Flanders' readiesi • IMollghtitoopening* There will be pmething newValley sun when the Windmill Mnner Theater opens its doors next Wednesday with the rollicking production, “Moll Flanders.” Although the opening performance is -beingbilled as a benefit for the Scottsdale Fine Arts Commission, the public is invited on a reservation basis (tickets are $25 per person).Located on the southeast*comer of Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard, Arizona's Windmill Dinner Theater is the fourth in a chain— the other three theaters are located in Houston, Dallas and Fort *Worth, Tex.Windmill Theater, Inc.; is aHouston-based corporation but the plays are Equity-cast in New York under the guiding band of executive: producer Cash Baxter. Each play will run for five ! weeks and will rotate among the four theaters.The manger for the Scottsdale operation is actor j Bruce Gordon, a familiar face to most television viewers, but perhaps best known for his role as Frank Nitti on “The Untouchable^’Gordon had worked in a TexasWindmill production of “Born Yesterday,” with Marie Wilson and became interested in the business.. “I like to act .and I like toeat*’’ combihe said, “what better ation?”•• ♦According to Gordon, the will seat 410 and there’s not 3 bad seat in the house. The table seating is tiered on three jsides of a stage which rolls into the center of the building, affording an excellent view from any angle.
