PAGE SIXFRANKLIN HIGH 6TH PROMOTED'Promotion exercises for 166 3tu- ■ dents of the Franklin school who will go on to Woodrow Wilson junior high school in the fall were held in the Franklin school auditorium under the direction of Miss Elizabeth Lutz, Principal Paul Hensarling reported.Patsy Montgomery acted as chairman of the program and all high sixth students participated in the program, which opened with three selections by a mixed chorus under the direction of Mrs. Gus Carlsen. The chorus sang “Texas, Our Texas,” “Have You Ever Been To Texas In The Spring?” and an arrangement of the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.Members of Chorus Members of the chorus were Santos Maldonado, Lynn Merwin, Joe Orta.
