South Shore Given Top Conservatory HonorsMarcia Louise Holt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Holt, 6854 Throop st., was awarded a gold medal at a contest conducted by the American Conservatory of Music last Saturday m the Kimball building. The young woman is a Plarper tugh school student and received the award in the intermediate group.In the senior groups honorable mention was confeired on Maxulyn Lindmark, Hirsch high school student and daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George Lindmark, 8244 Harper ave. The South Shore branch of the conservatory came out with top honors at the contest.
