June lfi. 1939. as Helen Keller day for Recklev, and request that all citizens give recognition on this occasion as they may wish.”Miss Keller will be the featured speaker of the three-dav meeting which will get under way Thursday with registration and an informal dinner in the Beckley hotel, convention headquarters.The Friday session will be taken up mostly with business, hut members will «top that night to attend a banquet and the district governor's ball at the Black Knight countrv club.Carbis A Walker, of Winston-Salem, N. C, chairman of the board of directors of Lions International, will make the main address at the banquet. Myron B Hvmes, of Buckhannon, past district governor, will be toastmaster.The Saturday meeting will be highlighted by a luncheon in the Black Knight country club, after which delegates will gather again to hear a report of the elect'ons committee on next year's officers.District Governor C.
