tne scnooi year begins,EASTW ANNUAL OUTThe East High school annual official publication of the east side school has made its appearance and surpasses any previous numbers In that ttoe book has been dedicated to the students and members of the alumni who are now in the services of tie nation. A whole section of the annual was devoted to the patriotic work containing a service flag with 111 stars representing those who have ?one to the colors.Other sections making up the annual were devoted to school activities, athletic events of the past year; literary events and Jokes and cartoons. Tho annual is also generously supplies with many pictures and stories of local color about student® of t.he school.The editorial staff consisted of Anna Patterson and M.
