WINNIPEG FREE PRESS, THURSDAY, JUNE 10. 1976MYKA AMYTen finalists for Miss Manitoba'Pen finalists have been selected tor this year's Miss Manitoba pageant, which will be held during Manisphere’s Red River Exhibition.The finalists wall participate in fashions shows at 8:30 p.m. Jun* 26 to 30 on the indoor stage in 'the Winnipeg Arena and the winner will be crowned at 9 p.m. June 30.Miss Manitoba will represent Manitoba and Man-i sphere at events throughout Canada and the Unit--ed States, including the Miss Canada pageant, to be held during Hie fall in Toronto.Judges for (he Miss Manitoba pageant areJune Sandberg. Lee Thies-scn. Joanne Unruh, Alex Me Kean and Ralph Warrington.The finalists are:Myra Amy, 19, who is working towards a bachelor of music degree at Brandon University, and ' was Mordents cofn .and apple festival queen in 1974-75-Gail Ann Cooper, 22. who won the registered „ psychiatric nurse gold medal in 1973 and is cur-really a registered nurse oti the neurosurgery ward at the Health Sciences Centre.Sheila Jackson. 20. an employee of Office Overload, who was a fiualisl -for Miss Teen Winnipeg and Miss Blue Bomber.Marian McGurran. 21. who is an arts graduate of the University of Winnipeg and was voted Miss Congeniality of the Miss Winnipeg Jets pageant.Cathy Price, 20, an employee of Transair, who is taking a course in sign language and plans to attend university next year top study education.Leslie Ann Sarchuk. 19-who is studying arts at the.
