Gomer PvleCutting Horse ContestWillBe Rodeo FeatureOne of Missouri's largest — and one of the best Is the Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo, sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce.This year the star attraction will be the appearance of Gomer Pyle, known by friends as Jim Nabors.He will be present for four days beginning Aug. 12.The parade will be held Aug. 12.Featured event this year will be the National Cutting Horse Association championship cutting horse contest. The first leg of the event will be on the first day at 4 p.m. The second round will be Aug. 14 and the finals will be held during the last day of the rodeo.Cape Youths
