Most of the townships were represented at the Auditor’s office, Saturday, for the purpose of organizing a county protective society. John Hackleman was made president of the meeting, and H. M. Broaddus was made secretary. Those in attendance were enthusiastically in favor of the organization, and a committee consisting of Ed Stone, Dan Kerschner and H. M. Broaddus was appointed to draft a constitution and by-laws, with instructions to report at another meeting to be held nest Saturday.
